The Thunder Tube: Is it a storm approaching? Aliens communicating? Swamp gas? The Big Bang? T-Rex? The ghost of Uncle Joe? Nope! it's a cool new sound effect instrument. The Thunder Tube produces a wide variety of sounds made by shaking the tube with one hand and opening and closing the top of the tube with the palm of your other hand. You can make additional sounds by scraping or tapping the spring. Comes with playing tips. A variety of tube patterns are available: Lightning (shown at left), T-Rex, Deep Space, Tie-Dye.

Stir Drum: This is sort of a mini xylophone thingy. You stir it like a bowl of scrambled eggs and it makes a neat sound. I use it for magic sounds or dancing skeleton sound FX.

18" Rain Drum

Rain drums: I use these a lot for water sound effects. They are also great meditation instruments. Two fixed goatskin heads on a frame contain beads that bounce and roll off the membranes' inside surface. Sounds like rain and thunder
